Microneedling is a time-tested treatment designed to harness your skin's own regenerative qualities. The procedure improves skin quality by stimulating the body’s natural collagen and elastin production. Using sterile, medical-grade microneedles, controlled micro-channels are created in the skin, triggering a healing response that strengthens and refreshes the skin from within.

How Microneedling Works
Microneedling creates precise, microscopic channels in the skin that stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin. These micro-channels also enhance the absorption of targeted topical serums, allowing active ingredients to penetrate more effectively. Because the epidermis remains largely intact, microneedling - a non-invasive treatment - improves texture and tone while preserving the skin’s natural architecture.
Why Do Microneedling?
Microneedling typically improves textural irregularities, which may minimize the appearance of fine lines and early wrinkles. With the production of collagen, acne scarring and enlarged pores may become less noticeable. As the skin renewal process takes place, uneven skin tone and dullness are treated, leading to improvement in overall skin quality and radiance. This procedure is often done on patients who desire gradual, natural skin improvement and are focused on long-term skin health and collagen support.
Microneedling is commonly performed on the face, neck, and chest, and may be extended to other areas as appropriate.
Results may be further optimized with platelet-rich plasma therapy. When appropriate, prescription-grade tranexamic acid is applied immediately after treatment, leveraging the temporary micro-channels to target pigmentation and melasma.
All treatments are physician-directed and precisely calibrated. Sterile equipment and rigorous infection-control protocols are standard in every procedure.
Downtime and Expected Results
Typical downtime after microneedling is approximately 1 to 2 days. Immediately after the procedure, treated areas may show mild redness and sensitivity. As the healing process progresses, the skin may feel dry or tight and may start to flake. Liberal application of moisturizers and hyaluronic acids hasten the recovery.
Most patients return to normal activities the next day. Makeup is typically permitted after 24 hours, once the skin barrier has begun to recover.
Skin often appears brighter and smoother within days. Collagen remodeling continues over several weeks, and best results are achieved with a series of treatments. Over time, skin becomes more refined, resilient, and evenly textured—without appearing “treated.”
