Ellacor is an advanced, minimally invasive treatment designed to improve skin laxity by removing tiny, fractional micro-cores of excess skin—without incisions or sutures. By selectively reducing surface area, Ellacor allows the skin to contract and tighten naturally, offering meaningful improvement in laxity while preserving skin texture and integrity.

At Skinfocused, Ellacor is used thoughtfully for patients seeking visible tightening who are not ready for surgical intervention.

How Ellacor Works

This is a first-in-class device that uses hollow, needle-like micro-cores to remove microscopic columns of skin in a precise, controlled pattern. The surrounding skin remains intact, allowing for natural contraction and healing as the treated areas close.

This approach differs from energy-based tightening treatments by physically reducing excess skin, rather than relying solely on collagen stimulation.

What Ellacor Treats

  • Mild to moderate skin laxity

  • Crepey or loose skin texture

  • Early jowling or lower face laxity

  • Laxity in the mid- to lower face (select patients)

Ellacor is most commonly used on the lower face and jawline, where skin redundancy contributes to an aged or softened contour.

Downtime & Recovery

The typical recovery requires several days to a week. Swelling, redness, and pinpoint scabbing are expected during healing. Tinted sunblock may be resumed once the micro-cores have completely closed.

Your physician will provide detailed post-procedure care instructions to support optimal healing.

Results

Patients may expect gradual tightening as swelling resolves and skin contracts, with continued improvement as healing progresses. Results appear natural and proportional—never pulled or over-tightened.

Ellacor improves skin laxity; it does not replace a surgical facelift. Results are refining, not surgical-level lifting.
