Fractional CO2 laser resurfaces skin by focusing on columns of skin tissue in a fractionated method to help reduce age spots, fine lines, skin laxity, textural irregularities, and thinning collagen layers of the face, neck, and chest.  The CO2RE Laser may be used for the treatment of scars and may be combined with medications for laser-assisted drug delivery.

CO2RE is an advanced fractional CO₂ laser designed to improve textural irregularities, fine lines, and overall quality by stimulating the body’s natural collagen-building process. By precisely delivering controlled columns of laser energy into the skin, CO2RE resurfaces damaged skin while promoting long-term rejuvenation from within.

Performed by our physicians, Dr. Kosann or Dr. Levine, this treatment is ideal for patients seeking meaningful improvement in wrinkles, sun damage, acne scarring, and skin laxity, with results that continue to evolve over time.

How CO2RE® Works

CO2RE uses fractional laser technology to create microscopic treatment zones within the skin. These micro-channels trigger a healing response that stimulates new collagen and elastin production while leaving surrounding skin intact, allowing for faster recovery compared to traditional fully ablative lasers.

What CO2RE® Treats

·       Fine lines and deeper wrinkles

·       Acne scars and textural irregularities

·       Skin laxity and crepiness

·       Enlarged pores

Ideal Candidates

CO2RE is well-suited for patients who:

·       Want significant skin renewal, not a subtle refresh

·       Are noticing moderate to advanced signs of aging

·       Have acne scarring or textural damage

·       Are comfortable with planned downtime in exchange for long-term results

After a thorough consultation and evaluation, your physician will evaluate your skin type, concerns, and lifestyle to determine whether CO2RE is the appropriate treatment for you.

Downtime & Recovery

Downtime varies depending on the treatment depth and intensity selected, but typical downtime can range from 4 to 7 days. Patients can expect redness, swelling, and crusting during the healing phase. Then pinkness may persist for several weeks as collagen remodeling continues.

Most patients will resume social activities once the skin has healed to a pink color. Our doctors and staff always give detailed post-procedure care instructions to support optimal healing and results.

Expected Results

Initial improvements are visible once healing is complete, but continued collagen production occurs over several months. Skin typically appears smoother, firmer, brighter, and more refined.

The Skinfocused Approach

We believe laser resurfacing should be thoughtful, customized, and evidence-based — never one-size-fits-all. Your treatment plan is designed by a board-certified dermatologist with deep expertise in skin biology, laser technology, and aesthetic outcomes.
